Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Android app published by Paran Apps, package app.paran.depthoffieldcalculator.

Local app data

Calculation parameters, saved shooting setups, names, notes, editor state and app language.

The Android app stores and processes this content on your device. It has no account system, analytics, advertising, tracking SDK or cloud sync service. Paran Apps does not automatically receive your app content.

How the app works

Depth-of-field calculations run locally. No camera, location, microphone or sensor access is requested.

Sharing and export

When you choose to share, save or export, Android passes the selected content to the app or file destination you choose. Those recipients, gallery apps and storage providers may handle it under their own policies. The app does not automatically send your workspace to another person or service.

Purchases

This version is designed as a paid download from Google Play, with all app features included and no in-app subscription. Google handles payment information, receipts and refunds under its policies. This app does not receive your card or bank details.

Retention and your control

Saved setups remain until you delete them or the newest 30 replace older entries. Current calculator parameters remain until changed. Previously shared calculations remain with their recipients.

Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes the app's local workspace. App data is excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer by its backup configuration. Export anything you want to keep before clearing storage or reinstalling. Clearing app data does not delete files previously saved or shared elsewhere.

Optional email support

Email support is optional. If you choose to email help@paran.app, Paran Apps receives your sender address and the message content you choose to send. We use these only to respond to your request and help with Focus Rail: Depth of Field, not for advertising or marketing. The app does not automatically send us your email address or workspace.

Request deletion of support emails

From the email address you used for support, email help@paran.app, mention Focus Rail: Depth of Field, and ask us to delete your support correspondence. We delete the covered sender address and message content. If a legal requirement obliges us to keep a specific record, we retain only that record for as long as required and explain the exception in our response.

This request covers support emails. Paran Apps cannot delete on-device data or copies you sent to another destination; remove those in the app, device settings or destination.

Children

This is a general-purpose tool and is not designed specifically for children. It does not knowingly collect children's personal information.

Contact and changes

Contact help@paran.app for privacy or support questions. If the app's behavior changes, this policy will be updated with a new date.
