Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the Android app published by Paran Apps.
Your work stays on your device
The app stores patterns, sample text, replacement templates, saved tests and your unfinished draft in its local app storage. Paran Apps does not receive this content, operate an account system for this app, or use analytics, advertising, tracking SDKs or a cloud sync service in this Android version.
How the features work
Regular expressions run locally in a separate, isolated process. The app has no internet permission. Import, export and sharing happen only when you request them.
Sharing and files
If you choose to share or export, Android passes the selected content to the app or file destination you choose. Those recipients and cloud storage providers may handle it under their own policies. Importing a file gives this app access to the file you select through the Android document picker. The app does not request broad storage access.
Purchases
The app is a paid download on Google Play. Google handles the purchase, payment information, receipts and refunds under its policies. This version has no in-app subscription. Paran Apps does not receive your card or bank details from this app.
Retention and control
Local content remains until you remove it in the app, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall. App data is excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer by this app’s backup configuration. Export anything you need to keep before clearing storage or reinstalling. Deleting this app does not remove copies you previously shared or exported.
Optional email support
Email support is optional and is not required to use the app. If you choose to email help@paran.app through your email app, Paran Apps receives your sender email address and the email message content you choose to send. We use this information only to respond to your request and help you with Regex Match Lab, not for marketing.
The app does not automatically send us your email address, reports, saved tests or sample text. Support messages are sent through your email app only when you choose to send them. Avoid including confidential sample text or other personal information unless necessary to your request.
Request deletion of support emails
To request deletion of support correspondence held by Paran Apps:
- From the same email address you used for support, email help@paran.app.
- Mention Regex Match Lab and ask us to delete your support correspondence.
We delete the support correspondence covered by your request, including your sender email address and support message content. If a legal requirement obliges us to keep specific records, we retain only those records for as long as required and explain that exception in our response.
This request covers support emails, not the app’s on-device data. You can remove saved tests in the app, or clear the app’s storage or uninstall to remove its local data. Paran Apps cannot delete files on your device; copies you exported or shared must be removed from their destinations separately.
Children
This is a general-purpose tool and is not designed specifically for children. The app does not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
